Chef Gagan began his formal journey into the hospitality industry by enrolling in the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program at SASTHM College, Biratnagar. His academic training laid a strong foundation in food production, hospitality management, and service excellence.

As part of his professional development, he completed internships in several five-star hotels in Kathmandu, where he gained hands-on experience in high-pressure kitchen environments. These experiences helped refine his culinary skills and introduced him to global kitchen standards and techniques.

He is currently serving as a Chef and Coordinator at UN College, Dharan, where he imparts theoretical and practical culinary knowledge to aspiring hospitality students.

His teaching approach blends traditional Nepali culinary wisdom with modern hospitality standards, making him one of the most respected culinary educators in Eastern Nepal.
